Classification by welding method
According to different welding methods can be divided into arc welded pipe, high-frequency or low-frequency resistance welded pipe, gas welded pipe, furnace welded pipe, such as Bundy.
Welded steel pipe: Used in oil drilling and machinery manufacturing.
Furnace Welded pipe: Can be used as water gas pipe, large diameter straight seam welded pipe for high-pressure oil and gas transmission, etc. spiral welded pipe used for oil and gas transportation, pipe pile, pier and so on.

Sort by weld shape
Can be divided into straight seam welded pipe and spiral welded pipe.
Straight Seam Welded pipe:
The production process is simple, the production efficiency is high, the cost is low, the development is quicker.
Spiral:
The strength is generally higher than the straight seam welded pipe, can use the narrow billet production pipe diameter larger welded pipe, but also can use the same width of the billet production pipe diameter of different pipe. But compared with the same length of straight seam tube, the weld length increases $number and the production speed is lower. Therefore, the smaller-caliber welded pipe mostly adopts straight seam welding, and the large diameter welded pipe is mostly spiral welded.
The spiral welded steel pipe is divided into two kinds: automatic submerged arc welded steel pipe and high-frequency welded steel pipe.
a) Spiral seam automatic submerged arc welded steel pipe According to the pressure of conveying medium is divided into Class A and class B tube. General use of ordinary carbon steel Q235, q235f and ordinary low-alloy structural steel 16Mn welding, B-type pipe using Q235, q235f, Q195 and other steel welding, used as a low pressure fluid conveying pipe.
b). Spiral seam high-frequency welded steel pipe spiral seam high-frequency welded steel pipe, there is no uniform product standards, general use of ordinary carbon steel Q235, q235f and other steel manufacturing.
