Production method of welded pipe 

Welded pipe production methods include furnace welding, resistance welding, submerged arc welding and special welding. 

Furnace welded steel pipe has chain-type furnace welding and continuous furnace welding two kinds. Resistance welded steel pipe is referred to as welded steel pipe, AC welding and DC welding. AC welding According to the different current waveforms have sine wave welding and square wave welding, according to the different frequency of low-frequency welding, intermediate frequency welding, ultra-medium frequency welding and high-frequency welding. Low-frequency welding has been eliminated, if welding or ultra-medium welding for thick-walled pipe welding, high-frequency welding thin-walled tube or ordinary wall thick pipe production. High-frequency welding by current input method has contact welding and induction welding. Contact welding can produce a variety of round tubes, profiled tubes and spiral welded pipe, induction welding can produce a variety of circular tubes, profiled tubes. 

Square-wave welding and DC welding are mostly used to produce fine diameter tubes. Submerged arc welded pipe is mostly used in the production of large diameter tube diameter tube. According to weld shape has spiral welded pipe and straight seam welded pipe. Longitudinal welded pipe According to the forming method is divided into roll forming, molding molding (UOE forming) and bending plate forming. 

According to the number of wire used in production is divided into single wire welding, double wire welding and multiple wire welding. Special Welding method also has tungsten electrode inert gas shielded welding (TIG), metal electrode inert gas shielded welding (MIG), high-frequency welding inert gas shielded welding, plasma welding, electron beam welding, brazing and so on. Used to produce non-ferrous metal pipe, high alloy pipe, stainless steel pipe, boiler pipe, oil pipe and double coil pipe (Bundy tube) and so on.
