Vietnam's Steel Exports Rose Nearly 50% In January-October

Recently, Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade data showed that in the first 10 months of this year, steel became the main product of Vietnam's export growth. 
From 1 to October, all of Vietnam's steel exports amounted to $2.47 billion, an increase of 49.1% over a year earlier.
Over the same period, the production of unprocessed steel in Vietnam increased by 40.5% year earlier, the output of coiled steel increased 6.6% year-on-year, In the first 10 months of this year, Vietnam's largest export market for steel was Cambodia, with exports of $631.2 million, $613.1 million in steel exports to the United States, 360.6 million dollars for Indonesian exports and 330.6 million dollars and 172.3 million in exports from Malaysia and Thailand, respectively.
