ASTM A790 S31803 steel is a Ferritic Austenitic duplex grade, with high chromium and molybdenum elements, it is the most widely used duplex stainless, UNS S31803 has excellent corrosion resistance, and high strength feature, generally S31803 seamless pipe is applied in corrosion and high-temperature environment.
S32205 / 2205 is an alternative grade with S31803 for welded pipe, for seamless pipe, it is a little difference in chemical position. in Europe, It is DIN 1.4462.
